: I personally think you should wait, although I didnt. I wish I had. At least until your with someone you can see youself marrying. At least. Because I regreat it daily. I wish I woulda gave mine to my boyfriend now. And my parents know. My dad heard me talking to a friend- and weirdly he took it ok. My mom found out being completely nosey- she was MAD, but is ok now. I dont think it makes you do worse in school, but please wait. I tell everyone to wait

: Saying it's wrong for teens to have sex is over generalizing. I'd say it's wrong for *some* teens to have sex - those who are not educated, and those who are irresponsible about it. I don't see a problem with teenagers having sex if they're older, (16/17) in a good relationship, educated on the topic, and protected. (Birth control & condoms.) That's my honest opinion.

1. Do you think it's immoral for teens to have sex?
•That depends on the teenager themselves and how they've been brought up. We all have different morals.

2. Do you think it's irresponsible for teens to have sex?
•Of the teen themself is not ready or educated, yes, it's irresponsible. However, not ALL teens are lacking knowledge on this topic. Some are smart about it and that's fine.

3. Do you think teens who have sex are less likely to get into a good college and do well in life?
•Not necessarily. My parents have been together since 14, and they got pregnant with me at 16. Both are still together, and very succesful with their education, careers, and family.

4. Do your parents know if you're a virgin or not?
•They tend to think otherwise, but I'm a virgin.

5. If they know, did you tell them?
•If I lost my virginity I think I'd tell my mom. I'm on birth control.

6. Do they care if you're having sex?
•I'm sure they'd care.

: 1. I feel that it is immoral for anyone who is not married to have sex. If they happen to be both, then that's fine, although I admit that's rare today.

2. Yes. What does sex do? Makes babies and forever bonds you to someone. Most teens aren't ready to be tied to a baby or a significant other at their age.

3. Irrelevant. My definition of "doing well in life" doesn't agree with most people's. I knew some huge sluts in high school who were in all honors classes. It makes no difference.

4. I'm pretty sure I've made it clear that I'm a virgin

5. Yes, I tell them . I haven't in a while, but they know it's important to me, so I'm sure they still think I am.

6. I'm sure they would care if I were, but it caused so much trouble with my hobag siblings that they probably would be too scared to say much about it. My brother hasn't talked to them in years.

As it is, I'm getting married this fall, so I'll be having sex then. And when I get pregnant, then everyone will know. The sucky part is, I look super young for my age, so I'm gearing up for all the dirty looks from people who notice my belly and youthful features instead of my belly and wedding ring.

: 1. No, I just think teens, being more inexperienced than adults, need to be more careful about it. Learn about it before taking that step. If they're ready and they want to do it, who has the right to tell them no?
2. In some cases yes, but most of my friends are in serious relationships with the person they do it will. I do have a couple who just do it 'for fun' and say sex is 'no big deal'. I think that's irresponsible. For example, a friend of mine told me she'd had sex with a sort of friend who asked her to prom and justified it by saying, 'get with our generation, sex isn't a big deal anymore'. Sex is as big a deal as it ever was, it just will take this girl a few more years to realize it.
3. No, I don't think it has an effect on that too much.
4. My parents know about me, I think if you're comfortable telling them you should.
5. Yes I told them. Better to tell them then have them find out in awkward circumstances.
6. As long as I'm safe and happy, and I'm doing it for the right reasons.

Good luck to ya!

: Honestly, I don't think people should have sexual intercourse without some kind of comitment, at least. The best is marriage. The reason is seen all over the place with unwanted pregnancies, fatherless children who live in poverty all their life., HIV AIDS, VD STD. No, Sex has nothing to do with college or intelligence. However there can be emotional problems arising from sexual relationships. That can go from just hurt feelings to murder and suicide. Love triangles always include 1 or more unmarried sex partners.
