: SM audition Questions:
hi, I wanted to introduce myself. I was ranzel, I'm 14 y / o turn 15 on MAY 2010, I am filipino. I am also white and high, but only modest. and I live in the Philippines. but I also have relatives in America and Canada. and this is my question

1. SM Entertainment will be accepting Filipino and they do, because they say asians. So Im not really sure, if I could make it or not?
2. 14 I (I know I'm young) 14 high school boy. I dream to be a member of a group because I really want to dance and sing and become a famous in korea. like Sandara Park IN 2NE1 one who is famous in korea
3. This example can only audition I go to 20 y / o?
4. I want to auditon. what the requirements. and I Do I must be a original CD to dance and when I sing I still bring a CD or not?
5. and how long the enterainment training in SM?
6. not strictly the jury with SM?
7. Each year there to audition at SM Entertainment?
8. and when auditions you what the jury looking to you in SM entertainment audition?
9. what is good personal audition or can I upload a video on the website in SM?

: 1. SM Entertainment will be accepting Filipino and they do, because they say asians. So Im not really sure, if I could make it or not?

I would say yes, but the only filipino singer i know of in korea as of right now is sandara. but she is talented and was already famous in Philippines. and really its all how you sing and present yourself. i wouldn't let the race discourage you from trying though. no one can say for sure. (okie nvm... i thought she was an exception but apparently sandara is fully korean so i'm not so sure anymore...

2. 14 I (I know I'm young) 14 high school boy. I dream to be a member of a group because I really want to dance and sing and become a famous in korea. like Sandara Park IN 2NE1 one who is famous in korea

i think 14 is a prime age to start auditioning and training. because singers in korea train at very young ages to be prominent entertainers. i also want to be an entertainer in korea but i realized this dream too late because i am 20 now but that isn't going to stop me from at least trying to pursue this dream.

3. This example can only audition I go to 20 y / o?

don't wait til you're 20... audition now and as much as you can.

4. I want to auditon. what the requirements. and I Do I must be a original CD to dance and when I sing I still bring a CD or not?

if you're dancing then yes you should bring your own cd to dance to, otherwise they'll put on a random song for you. for singing you will have to sing with no accompaniments of background music.

5. and how long the enterainment training in SM?

this will all depend on how hard you work as a trainee and how fast you'll improve. they don't give you a set time like "train for 4 years and we'll debut you" it doesn't work like that. you can train anywhere from 2 to 8 years. and when they see that you're ready they'll debut you.

6. not strictly the jury with SM?

i'm taking that you're trying to ask if the interviewers are strict? that i'm not so sure. just go in and do your thing and try to stand out because you'll be in the room auditioning with about 10 other people.

7. Each year there to audition at SM Entertainment?

there is audition every week for SM. in korea and in los angelas CA. but there is global auditions every year held in japan, china and other parts of east asia. Philippines is not included.

8. and when auditions you what the jury looking to you in SM entertainment audition?

you mean "what do they look for?" just talent and of course your looks. for SM they tend to go for looks more so if you're cute you have a better chance because training can always make you a better singer.

9. what is good personal audition or can I upload a video on the website in SM?

audition.smtown /SmUsaAuditionWeekly.asp?lang=eng

you can email/mail in your audition via online.

: Um Kekki, Sandara is NOT filipino ._______.^ She's Korean. She doesn't even look filipino -__-^

1. Yes you can! As long as you can sing, dance, or turn heads really easy. And not just your own race, but if you can go to Korea and turn heads for being gorgeous, and not just being a foreigner, you have a chance! And it would help if you are super light :)

2. 14 is NOT young. If you are any older, you will probably be too old =x Since you will need to train YEARS to be fluent in Korean, practice singing, dancing, and APPEAL to the korean audience. (which is super difficult, LOL)

3. This example can only audition I go to 20 y / o?
As I said before, if you are any older than now, you will be too old.

4. I want to auditon. what the requirements. and I Do I must be a original CD to dance and when I sing I still bring a CD or not?
Bring CD to dance along with, and for everything else, just be confident!

5. and how long the enterainment training in SM?
From 1-8 years. BUT for foreigners, you will be training more in the language I think, since most foreigners don't have many appearances on variety show and not really in the "spotlight." (unless you are khun, but he's like 4th most popular in 2pm lol.)

6. not strictly the jury with SM?
They will be strict. Like any normal person would, if you are unattractive, they will send you out even without listening to you. Of course, have confidence! If you look down, then uh, how will you face an audience of thousands of people? So they will kick you out. lol.

7. Each year there to audition at SM Entertainment?
Depends on where you are living right now. But you can send them your video if you are living in the philippines.

8. and when auditions you what the jury looking to you in SM entertainment audition?
Here, looks, but not like, gorgeousness. They are looking for CONFIDENCE, and nice features in the face. And of course, slim/worked-out body. And of course, you have to be able to sing or dance or don't even consider the entertainments.

9. what is good personal audition or can I upload a video on the website in SM?
I think upload. But send them the video, you will get a bit more noticed that way.

: if you have the talent and the looks, then just audition now. or it may be too late.. also, theres no age limit but they looked for younger ones. like you..

1. you could make it if you're handsome and look like Asian.. Filipinos are considered Asians.. so it's fine to audition.. yeah. you might make it..

2. 14 is really really young, and it's in the right age to audition.. don't wait til' you're older like 18+. they might not accept you. but for me, I'll audition at the age of 16. Im 14 yrs old right now. and is currently improving my talent in singing, dancing and acting. you should improve your skills too. so that.. there would be a great chance for you in getting in.

3. Nope! don't wait til' your 20.!. or there might not be a chance for you of getting in. but it's possible because some of the boy bands in sme, debuted at age 24 or 23. and auditioned at the age of 19 or 20. if you auditioned at the age of 14 then you have more chances of getting in

4. yes, you should bring your CD for your dancing.. or if you'll not bring the CD, they will play random song for you. and you need to dance with it. (pop or hip hop). and in singing.. you'll sing without microphone or any background music

5.it depends on your talent. if your a fast learner and is very talented. then you'll be able to debut earlier and train less. but if you're not that talented and is a hard learner(i mean, not the kind of fast learner). then you'll be able to debut late.. and train 3-8 years. i think

6.they're very strict when it comes to training. you'll have to TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN til' you cant do it anymore.. so you need determination and you need to persevere it. don't give up! you know the slave contract?. you need to atleast work for sm entertainment for 13 years. (it's a contract, you're going to sign before becoming sm entertainment's trainee)

7. no, audition is held every week in korea, los angeles and other places. if you needed more information about their schedule audition.smtown /SmUsaAuditionWeekly.asp?lang=eng
and there is a global audition where foreigners can audition too

8. they look for LOOKS the most. and talent.. 80% for the looks while 20% for the talent.. if you have the looks or if you're pretty and you just need to improve on your talent.. you have a great chance on getting in. so don't give up!

9. audition.smtown /SmUsaAuditionWeekly.asp?lang=eng you can upload your videos., or EMAIL it. don't know if there's really an upload videos there. but you can mail it to their Email.
for more info. visit their website. (at the top)

good luck with that! and im auditioning too. but now now. :)

: 1. They will be accepting Filipinos because Filipinos are ASIANS.

2. 14 is just the right age. A lot audition at even a younger age so 14 is just right. It will give you much more time to improve

3. 20 years old is kind of old. But Heechul from SUJU got in at like 19 because of his looks. So, if you're still good-looking at 20, go for it

4. Live auditions and Walk-in auditions, if you're going to dance bring your own CD. if you're going to sing, it will be on a ccapella so no need to bring your CD

5. Training can last for 2 years minimum and 10 years maximum. Amber from f(x) and Henry from SuJu M trained for 2 years before debut while some members from SNSD train for 7 years. SOme of the trainees at SM is still training right now.

6. The juries/judges is strict on how someone looks. they're not that much strict when you're good-looking. SM judges judge 90% based on looks and 10% based on talent.

7. They hold auditions every week in Seoul and LA. They hold global auditions once a year on different part of US and different cities of SOuth Korea. They have e-mail and mail auditions all-year round.

8. You need to be good-looking and have at least good talent. OR. You have to be very talented evn if you are not that good-looking.

9. You can send them e-mail auditions or mail auditions. info is in here: smtown
you cannot upload to their website

Hope I helped
