: I have never bought a cell phone before so i really dont know to much about any of this or what makes what phone better so i need your help because im going to get one tomorrow afternoon...i like the samsung because i am more familiar with their "layout" (i used to have a samsung tablet) but i couldnt figure out how to get music on it and i tried for a long time and no one would help me (please dont laugh there is a first time for everything lol) BUT the i phone is appealing because of the great picture quality you get from it however i was told it is very difficult to get your pictures onto a computer from an i phone where as its very easy with a samsung

i was also told that the samsung has a better durability rate than i phone...the screen on i phone supposedly cracks way easier and doesnt handle being dropped very well.

There are pros and cons to both and i just cant decide!

Please help!! Some personal exp would really be appreciated :)

: Don't pick either of them. Stick with what works: a simple prepaid phone, also known as a Go Phone, that you pay monthly minutes and texts on, and said minutes and texts count never expire.

: The iPhones are much more prone to cracks due to their glass nature on the front and back, but Samsung also has problems with the phones cracking easily, just not that much as Apple's.

The rundown on of their core parts only:

Apple iPhone 5C
CPU: Dual-Core 1.3Ghz Swift (Arm v7-based
RAM : 1GB of internal ram and internal storage capacity anywhere between 8 to 32GB (depends on which iPhone 5C)
Screen: LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 640 x 1136 pixels, 4.0 inches (~326 ppi pixel density)

Samsung Galaxy S4 (IP9500).
CPU: Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7
RAM: 2GB of internal ram and internal storage capacity between 18 to 64 GB (depends on which model)
Screen: Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.0 inches (~441 ppi pixel density) with Corning gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection.

I would say Galaxy S4 would be much more superior to Apple's iPhone 4

: I find Samsung is a hit and miss with quality. Personally, I haven't had luck with the reliability of Samsung, but maybe you had better luck with your Samsung tablet. I had a Samsung mobile phone before (not a smartphone) and I had problems with it. I don't have an iPhone, so I can't say from personal experience.
1) The Samsung is the only manufacturer that I had problems with connecting to my car via bluetooth. I never had a problem connecting to my bluetooth in my car using Nokia or Motorola... only Samsung. It was very frustrating.
2) The Samsung I used, the display started going haywire in less than a year. Some horizontal lines started appearing on the screen and the full picture never came back.
3) My friend had a Samsung and hated it (apparently the picture quality on her Samsung phone was horrible). She switched to iPhone and loved it.
